Veneer should be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning agents as they can damage the surface. If necessary, an additional surface treatment (oil, wax, or varnish) can provide protection and durability.

Commercial wood glues (PVAc glues, also known as white glue) are suitable for processing. For special applications – such as in interior construction or on larger surfaces – contact adhesives or PU glues can also be used. It is important to ensure an even distribution of glue.

End grain veneer shows the annual rings of the tree in cross-section. This creates striking, vibrant structures that are particularly decorative. Compared to longitudinal wood, end grain veneer is harder, more robust, and more abrasion-resistant – ideal for surfaces that are heavily used.

Veneer on fleece or end grain veneer should be stored flat, dry, and protected from direct sunlight. It is best to store it between two smooth boards or to weigh it down slightly to avoid warping and deformation. The optimal environment is a room with a constant temperature and moderate humidity.
