Veneer should be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the surface. If needed, an additional surface treatment (oil, wax, or varnish) can provide protection and durability.

Common wood glues (PVAc glues, also called white glue) are suitable for processing. For special applications – such as interior finishing or larger surfaces – contact adhesives or PU glues can also be used. An even distribution of glue is important.

End grain veneer shows the tree's growth rings in cross-section. This creates distinctive, lively patterns that are especially decorative. Compared to longitudinal wood, end grain veneer is harder, more durable, and more resistant to abrasion – ideal for surfaces that experience heavy use.

Veneer on fleece or end grain veneer should be stored flat, dry, and protected from direct sunlight. It is best to store it between two smooth boards or lightly weigh it down to prevent waves and deformations. The optimal environment is a room with a constant temperature and moderate humidity.
